In 2022 I was fortunate to photograph many great projects - one of which was featured in R-Home magazine. I also added several new clients.
In November alone I drove over 1000 miles, I’m wrapping up the year with a pleasantly slow-paced December. And, I’m making major investments in new gear.
Thanks for taking the time to check out my work over the last year.
Clark Construction
Clark Construction first reached out to me in July to photograph their recently completed project - Tysons Central. The building is a 20-story, 370,000 square-foot mixed-use building in Tysons, VA. I shot it over the course of two trips, one for interiors, and one for dusk and aerial drone photos.
Clark hired me again to shoot their new office space - Silverline Center, as well as a couple other projects in Baltimore.
I also took over 400 employee headshots for Clark in November.

Custom Kitchens
I’ve worked with Custom Kitchens for a couple of years now, and had the opportunity to photograph another great kitchen for them in 2022, as well as updating a few of their team members’ headshots.
HDR
I worked with HDR photographer, Dan Schwalm, to document the expansive VCU Adult Outpatient Pavilion in March. The project went on to win the Virginia AIA Award of Merit.

Kathy Corbet Interiors
Kathy is one of my most loyal clients year after year. Check out some of our work together from the past year.
Opus Group
Commercial real estate developer, The Opus Group, reached out to me to photograph the apartment building Ascend on Broad St.

Poole & Poole
Richmond-based architecture firm, Poole & Poole, needed dusk photos of apartment building Tapestry West.

R-Home
R-Home featured this modern home designed by Walter Parks Architects. I shot the home once for WPA, and again for R-Home. Most of my photographs for WPA were horizontal, and R-Home needed several vertical options for print.
SRC
One of the highlights of the year for me. Photographing Virginia Tech’s new football players’ lounge.

I’ve photographed many WPA projects over the last two years. Here are a few of my favorite projects and photographs from 2022.

Blackbyrd Goods
Photographing Blackbyrd Goods’ products is outside my niche, but I love working with them. It gives me a chance to take my camera off the tripod, use different lenses and work in a completely different creative zone.
Thank you so much for enjoying my 2022 year in review! I hope 2023 brings me as many fine projects. If you have any photography needs or questions please reach out.
Happy Holidays!
