SRC Construction contacted me last year to photograph some of their recent work for VCU as they began work on a new website. Within the last year, they’ve also completed several projects at Virginia Tech, including the new football players’ lounge. We waited and waited for the delivery of the arcade games, and Virginia Tech to announce completion before scheduling our shoot.
I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2009, covered VT sports for the Blacksburg ESPN Radio affiliate for a couple of years, and have traveled all over to watch Hokies football. I have spent a ridiculous amount of time and energy devoted to Virginia Tech sports - so this was a very exciting project for me to see and photograph.
