Kathy Corbet, of Kathy Corbet Interiors, has been an extremely loyal client of mine for years. We were introduced to each other by the owners of Triple Crossing Beer. Kathy and I have worked together on over 25 projects. If that’s not loyal I don’t know what is!
The first project I shot for Kathy featured her design work in a Homerama house. I shot the whole house over the course of a full-day. This project includes a bar monkey - an heirloom passed down from Kathy’s father to her, a beautiful open kitchen and more.
One of the next projects I shot for Kathy was the original design of Triple Crossing’s Fulton location. This project featured incredibly unique fixtures, a huge mural by Mickael Broth aka The Night Owl, and monkeys (again)! The TCB monkeys were not only inspired by the one passed down from her dad, but also by Kathy’s travel to a trade show in Paris where she saw climbing monkeys used as a wall display. Kathy travels all over the world frequently, and you can see the influence in her design work.
Here are ten more of my favorite photos of Kathy’s projects over the years including a basement Irish bar, vibrant kitchens, a colorful indoor “playground” and more.
